Everything & More!!!
"After a stressful wet drive & dismal experience at our booked motel, we went online & found this stunningly delightful motel!!!
It was a Friday evening 7ish when I phoned & was told they would check for a studio that would sleep 3 of us.
The hostess was so very gracious, called back & advised we could have a king studio, rate was very good.
We arrived after 30mins to be greeted by a big smile & welcome, again by the hostess. My c/card was taken & we were given the receipt, along with paper for $100.00 off after staying in 3 Asure places, for 10nights!!
Lorraine showed us to our room, we were stunned, it was light, bright, warm as toast & spick & span clean! Even the electric blankets had been turned on & the beds warm.
There was plenty of seating, couches with a soft throw, a separate room for up to 2 extra people. The kitchen was well equiped with 6 of all cutlery, crockery etc.
Milk was given, the fridge had a bit of water leaked on the floor - Lorraine apologised for this & cleaned it up there & then.
The whole place was serviced each day, so coming back tired it was amazing to walk in & have such a lovely place to just be able to relax & unwind in.
Overall the place was amazing, the water was about 20 metres from the door, views were stunning, there was a covered courtyard with tables etc & plants & flowers for guests use. Close to shops, restaurants etc, & a huge park just down the road.
This will be our place to stay whenever we are in Tauranga again!
Special thanks to Lorraine for her warm welcome & renewing our faith in hospitality!" - RaeNV
"We have stayed here previously. Lovely spacious rooms close to cbd. Very friendly helpful managers. Had a great chat and catch up. Can highly recommend this motel. We had a lovely room with master bedroom, seperate kitchen and living room. 2 x TVs, sofa and single bed with large queen size in the master, very comfortable. Good size bathroom. Will definitely stay here again." - Mark E

"The location was just exceptional - the motel was literally a stone's throw from the Waters edge and so close to the CBD. Views were stunning from the rooms in the morning. Rooms/ location/ value all 10/10" - Caha8559
A great place to stay in Tauranga
"We first stayed here in 2010 and enjoyed our stay then just as much as we did this time.
Our apartment was at the front of the building but as it's a very quiet area this isn't a problem. We were able to park right near our door which was really convenient.
The location is great- a supermarket just a short walk away, it's quiet and heading out by car is easy.
We made our booking by a combination of email and phone calls and Athol and Lorraine were most helpful. Unfortunately they were away while we were there so we didn't meet them but the relief manager welcomed us and looked after us very well.
Our one bedroom apartment was spacious and well set out and we had a lovely private garden in which to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
The bed was comfy and the linen very good.
The kitchen was well set out and we found everything we needed.
The bathroom was spotless and had the basin area separate from the shower and toilet with a door which meant two people could use of the bathroom at the same time." - Gwen008
Lovely Bay of Plenty stay
"Spent two nights here in room four, which had unquestionably the best view of the lake. Upon arrival, the host Lorraine could not have been nicer or more accommodating, with milk for tea and a map full of recommendations for restaurants along “The Strand” downtown. We followed her rec for dinner at Macau and highly recommend you do the same, it was a fantastic meal. The room, more like an apartment, was clean and spacious and well organized. Also appreciated the quiet hours posted on each door, which ensured a more peaceful stay. Location is great, a short drive to both Matamata and the pick up point for the glow-worm kayak. Definitely make use of the lakeside bench just a few steps away from the motel, great for sunset and sunrise or even just an afternoon tea to watch the tide come in. Would absolutely stay here again." - Matthew Cruz
"Stayed for one night with my mum and sister. Ethel who runs the Motel gave us an excellent welcome and great advice on where to eat and relax. The room was clean, welcoming and perfect for cooking your own meals. Would definitely return for another stay" - Cascallan
