Terms and Conditions.

• Reservations are a contract between Harbour View Motel & Apartments and the person named on the reservation and are not transferable to any other person.
• The named person on the booking is responsible and liable for all occupants and visitors’ behaviour and damage.
• All reservations are to be made by persons 21 years or older.  The credit card holder that makes the booking must be present for the duration of stay.
• Quiet time is from 10pm to ensure all guests have an enjoyable stay.
• Antisocial behaviour: We reserve the right to remove guests from our facility who are deemed by staff to be behaving in a socially unacceptable way. Guests staying in our rooms will be required to provide a valid Visa or Mastercard number to act as security. Any damage made to items or accommodation during the length of your stay will include an appropriate charge for replacement/repair or loss of income.  
• Our properties are under 24-hour CCTV security surveillance
• We are unable to take responsibility for any damage to your vehicle caused by other vehicles or people on site.

Reception Hours: Monday to Sunday 8am - 8pm. 

If you will be arriving outside our reception hours, please advise so you can be informed of our late check-in procedure. For contactless check ins, payment is processed from the supplied credit card on file or as agreed during booking.

Check in & out times: Check in from 2pm.  Check out by 10am.  Late check outs must be pre-arranged.

Credit card guarantees and payment: To make a booking, we require valid Credit Card.

Payment will be taken/charged to the credit card provided for the total booking cost prior to your arrival, 48 hours in advance (once the booking is within the 48 hour no cancellation period), unless otherwise arranged. Please ensure your credit card has sufficient funds to cover this amount, as if a card is declined, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and on sell your room.  If a card has declined, and we are unable to contact you, your booking will be cancelled, and the room will be made available to other potential guests.

Tariffs: All rates quoted are on a per night basis and are including GST of 15%.

Child Policy:  0 - 2-year-olds Free: 2 - 14-year-olds: $45 per child. 15-year-olds and over: charged adult rates.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the reservation date incur no fee. Thereafter, if a booking is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, cancellation fees apply and will equal the full booking cost. 

For Group Bookings of 3 or more units the cancellation period is 14 days, with a 50% non-refundable deposit required to secure the booking two months in advance.  

If a group books on-line a 50% deposit may be requested to secure the booking. 

If any booking results in a "No Show" the Credit Card will be charged for the total cost of the reservation.

Changes to a reservation: Any change in the term of the reservation will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of rooms. Earlier departure than the reserved date may not result in a refund unless management approve and are able to resell the booked accommodation at short notice.

Lost Property: Items can be posted back at your expense. We will require payment before sending. Payment must include tracking.
 

Smokefree: We are a smokefree workplace & environment and encourage smokers to smoke off site.

Force Majeure: Harbour View Motel will not be in any breach of this agreement or in any way liable, if it is prevented from complying with the supply of accommodation and other related services by reason of Act of God,

Act of Public Enemy, War, Earthquake, Riot, Fire, Storm, Flood, Explosion, Compliance with any Law of Government Restraint Order, Rule Regulations, Strikes, Lock Outs or any other cause not reasonably within the control of the motel.
